Senior SAP CAP Developer (m/f/d)
You build applications on SAP BTP that replace custom Z-code in the ERP or map new processes, from data model to Fiori UI. Remote within Germany, full-time permanent position.

About the role
You build applications on SAP BTP that replace custom Z-code in our clients' ERP systems or map new processes. You work from the data model to the Fiori UI and take the application cleanly into production.
ORAI is an SAP consultancy focused on SAP BTP and Business AI. Our team is small and deliberately senior: clients work directly with experienced people, without an account layer and without a rotating junior team.
What you'll do
- You develop side-by-side extensions with SAP CAP in Node.js and TypeScript
- You model data with CDS, build OData services and connect S/4HANA via standard APIs and Cloud Connector
- You build UIs with SAP Fiori Elements and, where needed, SAPUI5
- You take care of authorisations with XSUAA and IAS, multitenancy where required, and deployment via MTA and CI/CD
- You write tests and documentation so that clients can run the application themselves
- You contribute to the ORAI Agent when needed
What you bring
- Several years of development experience with SAP CAP, ideally in Node.js and TypeScript
- Confident with CDS, OData V4, HANA Cloud and the BTP cockpit
- Experience with Fiori Elements or SAPUI5
- Understanding of how S/4HANA data and processes are structured
- Git, CI/CD and automated tests are part of your daily work
- You work independently and raise problems early
- Fluent German and good English
